Uptown Ankeny's beloved Trunk-Or-Treat event is growing once more! Come for the candy, in the form of FOUR blocks of trunk-or-treating, then stay for more Halloween frights and delights! Spooky tunes from DJ Big Lare, costume contest, rides on the Uptown Express, plus more bewitching surprises. Halloween In Uptown is presented by our friends at Veridian Credit Union.

 

Costume Contest:
Enter to win in one of three categories: Best Single Costume, Best Group Costume, and Best Handmade Costume. Check in from 4-6pm. Judging at 6:30, prizes will be awarded at 7. Must be present to win! Find the signup booth on the Uptown Ankeny Association's front lawn (601 SW 3rd Street).

 Parking Info:

Find parking spots in and around Uptown Ankeny and the surrounding residential area. The Ankeny First United Methodist Church will allow public parking that night, and is accessible from SW Cherry and SW Walnut Streets, just south of W 1st Street. The parking lot south of Neveln Center will also have open parking if you come after 5:30pm.
